Find Your Opponent’s Weaknesses
When it comes down to it, poker is all about reading your opponents. You should always be focused at the poker table, and don’t let yourself get thrown off by distractions like table talk. Look for the other player’s weaknesses - the best way to do this is to study them carefully during the game and analyze their poker strategies. Do they call with mediocre cards? Do they overplay draws? Do they bluff in bad spots? It’s more difficult to find weaknesses when you’re playing online poker, but it’s definitely possible. If you analyze your opponents’ betting patterns you will soon discover what leaks they have in their game. And when you do, you will be able to maximize your profit.
