When you put a decent raise in preflop, you have to be aware that your opponents may think you have Aces or Kings. When they play back at you, they may be saying ‘I can beat aces.’ Or they could be testing the waters. ‘If he has aces, he’ll raise and I can fold knowing I’m beat.’
