Preflop hands against a raise

Hands like AJ, AT, KQ and KJ are really tough to play against a raise preflop. Unless you make top two or broadway, you may be putting a lot of money in with top pair and be crushed. When you flop top pair, itâ€™s generally better to play these hands fast on the flop to figure out where you are and give up or slow down if your opponent plays back.
