Facing a raise on the river
In no limit, if you bet a strong hand (but not the nuts) on the river and get raised it’s not a bad idea to simply call. When you are beat you save yourself the money you would have raised. But what about the money I lose when I raise and he calls? Most players will not call a reraise without the second nuts or something very close to it.
