Beating a player who shuts down
Some players will absolutely shut down on the turn and river when you call their raise out of position on the flop. Against these players, lead out with your draws on the flop. After his raise, just call and let him check it down with you. When you make your hand, lead into him for a very small value bet (like ¼ pot), just enough to get paid off.
