For the most part, bets at a poker table will make sense, you just have to think about who made it in what position and it can become very clear. On the button or cutoff, some players will make small raises with suited aces to build a pot that they can play in position. You can abuse this type of play by reraising preflop with any two cards (representing AA, KK, QQ or AK) and trapping the dead money. It’s risky, but you don’t have to be right often for it to be successful. It’s doubly successful if you’re willing to make that play with monsters.
