Advanced poker: Can’t wait for the nuts
It’s not enough to wait around for the nuts. That’s not a unique skill, everyone gets the nuts. The skill comes in disguising your hands, pulling some misdirection. When you find yourself betting the nuts and not getting called, it’s time to open up your game and play a hand or two LIKE it was the nuts. And if you don’t get called, don’t advertise. Eventually you’ll get looked up, and it could be a time you have the nuts, or nothing.
