Keeping the pot the size of your hand
There’s an old poker saying ‘small hand, small pot. Big hand, big pot.’ You can keep a pot small by raising a little more than the minimum on the flop. If you get reraised, you can fold feeling you’re most likely beat. This way you save money that you would have called off on the turn and river.
